Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Commercial Generator Field Technician to service and repair generator and power distribution equipment at client sites in Florida. You will support ongoing maintenance, diagnose issues, and provide technical guidance to customers.

The role requires three years of field experience with generator systems, strong electrical troubleshooting, and familiarity with Woodward/PLC controls. Travel and on-call duties are involved to ensure continuous power reliability.

Qualifications

• Three years of field experience servicing generator systems.
• Ability to read and decipher electronic schematics.
• Experience with Woodward, Beckwith, and PLC controls.
• Safety standards compliance and strong problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to customer sites and work independently.
• Provide on-call 24x7 support as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance on generator and power systems.
• Coordinate and manage on-site subcontractors.
• Maintain equipment and document service reports.
