Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician – Commercial Generators to maintain and repair generator and power distribution equipment at client sites. Travel and on-call duties are required, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose engine and electrical faults, and support our customers with technical guidance. A high school diploma and field experience are expected, with opportunities for training and advancement within PowerSecure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of field experience servicing generator systems or equivalent.
• Able to perform triennial maintenance and engine diagnostics.
• Understanding of Automatic Transfer Systems and basic controls.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to customer sites.
• Provide 24x7 on-call services as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and battery installations.
• Complete required paperwork and field service reports.
• Provide technical support to customers on demand.
