PowerSecure is hiring a Service Technician – Commercial Generators in Florida. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment, with technical support for customers on operational aspects.

Qualifications

• Level II/III/IV technician experience levels and requirements.
• Ability to perform triennial maintenance and engine diagnostics.
• Expertise with Volvo and PSI engines.
• Understanding of Automatic Transfer Systems and schematics.
• Must observe safety standards.
• Mentor mid to high level techs as requested.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel with an independent work structure.
• Provide 24x7 on-call services as required.
• Maintain and safeguard company equipment and tools.
• Battery installations and replacements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on contracted equipment.
• Customer contact and interface.
• Complete all paperwork timely and accurately.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Maintain technical documentation for study/review.
• Attend training as needed.
• Own and maintain personal set of tools.
• Cross train in other areas as needed.
