Job summary

World Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an Operations Specialist to manage dedicated fleet operations, customer service, and safety compliance. You will lead dispatch, monitor drivers for productivity, and ensure regulatory adherence across the operation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and monitor all drivers for productivity and efficiency.
• Check SAMASARA Electronic Logs for USDOT and MC3 compliance.
• Work with customers to schedule loads and capacity needs at the location.
• Coordinate with Trinium to manage load scheduling and dispatch daily.
• Ensure loaded containers are returned to rail or port on time.
• Audit driver paperwork and ensure correct documents are uploaded.
• Build relationships with customers and expand partnerships.
• Assist CX team with invoicing and customer service.
• Conduct monthly 12-point truck inspections and report findings.
• Support safety department with log compliance and driver errors.
