Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher in Ohio. You will monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, enter locations and times into the Dispatch system, and coordinate with carriers and drivers to determine locations and status.

Collaborate with Dispatch, Account Managers and Operations to meet service levels and keep clients informed. You will also secure bills of lading and PODs, supporting a compliant and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the status of shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Enter shipment location, date and time into Dispatch system.
• Contact carriers and drivers to determine driver location.
• Escalate service issues to Dispatch, Operations Management and Client.
• Work with Dispatch, Account Managers and Operations to meet SLAs and inform clients.
• Secure shipment and carrier documentation (bills of lading, PODs, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned.
