Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Ohio seeks an experienced Building Automation Account Executive to grow our BAS and HVAC controls business across Columbus and Central Ohio. You will own the revenue-producing pipeline with strong cross-team support from engineering, operations and service.

In this role you will develop new business, leverage established relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and grow both new and existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial building automation or HVAC controls sales experience.
• Established relationships and market knowledge in Columbus and Central Ohio.
• A track record of independently developing pipeline and generating revenue.
• Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• The ability to independently manage your territory while collaborating with technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new BAS and HVAC controls business throughout Central Ohio.
• Leverage your existing industry relationships to create new opportunities.
• Build and manage a qualified, revenue-producing sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with building owners, facility managers, mechanical contractors, engineers, and other decision-makers.
• Sell BAS projects, controls upgrades, retrofits, integrations, and service solutions.
• Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Grow existing accounts while consistently developing new business.
