Job summary

Jobot in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a BAS Project Manager to own and deliver complex DDC projects for building automation systems. You’ll drive projects from turnover through closeout, coordinating clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget execution while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in BAS/HVAC or DDC, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and familiarity with design/build and value engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or DDC systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls installation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project financials.
• Familiarity with design/build and value engineering projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage building automation/DDC projects from turnover through closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams
• Oversee scheduling, manpower planning, procurement, and subcontractors
• Control project budgets, labor productivity, and financial performance
• Lead pre-construction planning and coordination meetings
• Price and manage change orders
• Ensure timely billing and accurate documentation
• Maintain strong safety standards on all job sites
