Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is looking for an Assistant who will support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will learn services, assist with color consultations, and promote products while advancing toward a Licensed Colorist role.

The position can be full or part time based on needs. Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with potential earnings in the $27–$28 per hour range for this location.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Entry level customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, and color-related services.
• Support achievement of monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Keep Hair Color Bar clean, merchandised, and secure.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures.
• Help drive revenue through higher average service tickets and memberships.
• Support Colorist training and growth within the team.
