Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a Hair Color Bar Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist, to assist colorists and the shift lead while learning for promotion. You’ll ensure guests have a seamless experience from arrival to departure and help clients choose the best color for them.

This role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with earnings ranging $28.50–$29.50 per hour at this location. Proactive teamwork and a positive attitude will be rewarded as you advance.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applicable state.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; salon/beauty experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values of Love, Joy, Trust, Courage and Responsibility.
• Assist behind the chair services such as finishing, shampooing, conditioning, styling and add-on applications per guest request.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services and memberships.
• Ensure Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security standards.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive revenue by increasing the average service ticket and promoting memberships, subscriptions and home care.
• Support Colorist training to grow your career within Madison Reed.
