Madison Reed is hiring a Hair Color Bar Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist to support licensed colorists and manage guest flow. You’ll learn services, assist with color, shampooing, styling, and memberships while aiming for promotion to Licensed Colorist. The role emphasizes guest connection and a polished, friendly workspace.

Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with earnings in the $26.50–$27.50 per hour range for this location. Availability at peak times is required.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with brand values.
• Assist in shampooing, finishing services, styling, blowouts, and color-related tasks.
• Support sales goals through retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, and stock in the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed protocols and processes, supporting training towards advancement.
