Madison Reed is hiring a Hair Color Bar Assistant to support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead in delivering a seamless guest experience. You will learn consultations, color services, and product offerings while staying organized and building guest relationships.

This role is in training for promotion to Licensed Colorist, with pay ranging from $28 to $29 per hour. Availability at peak times is required; role may be full or part-time depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; beauty industry preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills for a fast-paced retail/salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Assist with behind-the-chair services, shampooing, conditioning, styling, and add-on services per guest request.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail and services.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security for the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed policies and processes and drive revenue through upselling memberships and products.
• Support training for promotion to Licensed Colorist.
