Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is looking for a Hair Color Bar Assistant, licensed cosmetologist to support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead, ensuring guests have a seamless experience from arrival to departure while learning the services toward your next role.

The role may be full or part time and offers base hourly pay, commissions, and tips with potential earnings for this location between $26.50 and $27.50 per hour depending on performance and time behind the chair.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; salon or beauty industry preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with values.
• Perform behind-the-chair services such as assisting in finishing services and shampooing, styling, blowouts, and color-related tasks.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other KPIs including retail sales, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security standards.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive revenue through increasing average service tickets and memberships.
• Support colorist-to-colorist training and develop behind-the-chair application skills to grow within Madison Reed.
