Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Collision Service Advisor to serve as the primary contact for customers through the repair process.

You will greet customers, document repair needs, prepare detailed estimates, explain services, and secure approvals from customers and insurers. You will coordinate with technicians, monitor timelines, communicate status updates, and promote additional services that improve vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational training in automotive repair or related field preferred; OR 3+ years of experience in auto body estimating, collision repair, or related automotive service role.
• Knowledge of insurance procedures, requirements and Direct Repair Programs (DRP) required.
• Proficiency with computers and estimating software (CCC ONE, Audatex, or Mitchell) required.
• Experience with writing Tesla repair estimates is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and collect vehicle and customer information.
• Listen to concerns, conduct inspections or test drives as needed, and document issues on repair orders.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates including labor, parts, and time; obtain authorization before work begins.
• Explain repairs, costs, and timelines clearly; secure approvals for additional work.
