Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing repairs, and coordinating with customers, insurance companies, and internal teams. The role emphasizes clear communication and meticulous documentation throughout the repair process.

The estimator will document damage, specify required parts, and align with the shop’s KPIs to ensure timely, high-quality restorations while maintaining a positive customer

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s (minimum 1 year experience).
• Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Document and update all customer interactions accurately and promptly.
• Provide customers with accurate, timely information and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, repair planning, and communication.
• Communicate customer requests to the appropriate team members.
• Greet customers cheerfully in person and over the phone.
• Understand and apply required insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with leadership; support teammates as needed.
• Engage in monthly Health & Safety meetings and general staff meetings as required.
• Attend training sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager.
