Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to enhance the customer experience by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify accuracy and ensure timely parts availability to meet vehicle needs.

Qualifications include 1–3+ years in automotive parts, strong communication, and I-Car progress toward Gold Class; familiarity with Summit MIS, Mitchell and Audatex is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer Service Oriented with strong organizational ability under pressure.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is consistently executed.
• Communicate all customer requests to relevant team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive parts per repair orders, ensuring quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into MIS system.
• Label and track all parts by RO number and communicate price changes to team.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in MIS; monitor parts performance.
• Ensure invoices and credits are posted and filed timely.
• Maintain negotiated discounts on vendor invoices to protect margins.
