Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, and dispatching parts for each repair order. You will verify part quality and accuracy to support timely vehicle repairs.

In this role you will work closely with vendors, manage invoices in the MIS, track parts by RO number, and communicate price changes to the team while maintaining high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks.
• I-CAR registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on repair orders, confirming quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs.
• Communicate all Parts Price Changes to required team members.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS and monitor vendor invoices.
• Ensure vendor invoices have negotiated discounts to maintain profit margins.
