Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to manage ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for repair orders. You will verify parts quality, enter invoices in the MIS, and track parts by RO number, ensuring timely distribution to the shop.

The role requires 1–3+ years in automotive parts, strong organizational skills, and good communication. I-Car registration is preferred, with a focus on accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3+ years of experience working with automotive parts; auto body parts a bonus.
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability under pressure.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive parts per repair orders, ensuring quality and quantity.
• Verify accuracy and quantity of parts received for each RO.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by the RO number and store with vehicle/repairs.
• Communicate Parts Price Changes (PPI) to required team members.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS; monitor parts performance and vendor invoices.
• Post and file invoices and memos in a timely manner.
• Assist with daily reconciliation of the parts vendor invoice history report.
• Ensure correct negotiated discounts are applied to invoices.
