Job summary

Crash Champions in Oakland, CA is seeking a customer-focused estimator to educate customers through the repair process, explain insurance steps, and provide clear repair options. You will complete initial estimates, finalize after disassembly, and maintain strong client communication.

You will manage each repair with Crash Champions quality standards, review data with body technicians, handle paperwork, and ensure carrier requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills are essential
• Strong organization and time-management for fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners is a plus
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with multiple estimating systems (CCC One, Mitchell & Audatex)

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repairs, insurance procedures, rights, repair techniques, safety and value
• Complete initial estimates, write final estimates after evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair through the process and ensure Crash Champions quality standards through QC
• Keep customers informed about vehicle status and provide excellent service
• Review data with body technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, and ensure carrier requirements are met
