Job summary

As a repair process educator and estimator, you will guide customers through insurance steps, generate accurate estimates, and oversee repairs from start to finish while coordinating with body technicians to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Experience using vehicle repair estimation systems.
• Ability to manage repairs and communicate with customers.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the repair process, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques and value.
• Complete initial estimates, write full estimates after disassembly and damage evaluation, lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair through the process and ensure quality standards via in-process QC.
• Keep customers fully informed on vehicle status and provide a superior experience.
• Pull and review data procedures with Body Technicians and perform post-scanning for each vehicle.
• Pre-close the final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carriers' requirements are met.
