Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Detroit, MI is seeking an Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience by creating estimates and coordinating repairs with customers and insurers. You will assess vehicle damage, document needed repairs, and communicate with all parties to ensure smooth processing and KPI achievement.

A High School Diploma, 1 year DRP experience, I-CAR training, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in auto body or DRP environment.
• Willing to complete I-CAR training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction accurately and update records.
• Provide customers with accurate, timely information guiding them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance programs, DRP requirements and processes.
• Participate in production walks with management and attend staff meetings as required.
• Support team members and help maintain the store KPIs and daily performance.
