Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by creating estimates, coordinating repair needs, and communicating with customers and insurers throughout the repair process.

The Estimator assesses vehicle damage, documents repairs, and works with the team to meet KPIs. Minimum education includes high school diploma and at least one year of experience; valid driver’s license and I-CAR training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Awareness of where to look for answers is expected.
• Compliance for DRP’s is required.
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR training.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with details and updates.
• Provide accurate, timely information guiding customers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and processes.
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, planning, communication, and delivery.
• Communicate customer requests to the appropriate team members.
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Understand insurance programs and procedures relevant to the role.
• Participate in daily production walks with management when required.
• Support team members as needed.
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings if required.
• Attend training sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager.
