Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to provide exceptional customer experiences while creating estimates and coordinating repairs with customers and insurance companies. The role involves assessing damage, detailing repairs, and aligning with the team to meet KPIs.

The position emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to DRP and WOW Operating Way standards, and maintaining professional communication with all stakeholders throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and OEM guidelines.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and store systems.
• Knowledge of DRP processes and insurance requirements.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training when required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Document and update all customer interactions accurately.
• Provide customers with clear, timely information through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and metrics.
• Coordinate with team on drop-offs, planning, and delivery.
• Communicate customer needs to appropriate team members.
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and by phone.
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management.
• Support team members as needed.
• Attend health, safety, and staff meetings.
• Attend training sessions and workshops as advised by Store Manager.
• Maintain KPIs by strong performance.
