Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Birmingham, AL seeks an Estimator to deliver exceptional customer experiences while accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs. You will document damage, specify parts, and communicate with customers and insurers to meet KPIs.

The role requires knowledge of repairs, OE guidelines, and DRP compliance, plus basic computer skills and an I-CAR training willingness. On-site work with a strong team culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to find information and stay compliant.
• Basic computer skills needed for daily tasks.
• Minimum 1 year experience with DRP processes.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately.
• Provide information and guide customers through repair steps.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and metrics.
• Follow WOW operating procedures for drops, planning, and communication.
• Relay customer requests to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain positive energy when greeting customers in person and by phone.
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management.
• Support team members as needed.
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings if required.
• Attend training sessions and workshops as recommended.
