Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Auto Repair Estimator to guide customers through the repair process, insurance steps, and vehicle safety considerations. You will prepare initial and final estimates, monitor repairs, and ensure quality standards while keeping customers informed.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, organization, and familiarity with insurance processes and estimating systems such as CCC One or Audatex.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Ability to organize, multi-task and manage time in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with estimating systems such as CCC One, Mitchell & Audatex.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on vehicle repair processes, insurance steps, customer rights and safety.
• Complete initial estimates and final estimates after disassembly and evaluation.
• Oversee each repair and ensure quality standards via in-process QC.
• Keep customers informed about repair status and progress.
• Review data with Body Technicians and perform post-scanning for each vehicle.
• Pre-close final repair order and handle disbursement paperwork, ensuring carrier requirements are met.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Completes initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC.
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
• Able to pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order, Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are complete
