Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled estimator/customer advocate to guide customers through the repair journey. You will educate clients on repair steps, insurance procedures, and safety, while generating and refining estimates as work progresses and ensuring final data integrity.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with technicians and carriers, pre-close activities, and precise paperwork to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required to educate customers on repair processes, insurance procedures, rights, safety, and value.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities to manage multiple repairs and meet timelines.
• Knowledge of insurance workflows and ability to interact with carriers and partners.
• Experience with estimating systems (CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on vehicle repair process, insurance procedures, rights, repair techniques, safety and value.
• Complete initial estimates, finalize estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair and ensure quality standards through in-process QC.
• Keep customers informed on vehicle status and provide excellent service.
• Review data procedures with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning steps for each vehicle.
• Pre-close final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, and ensure carrier requirements are met.

Job description

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Completes initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC.
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
• Able to pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order, Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are complete
