Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a customer-oriented estimator to educate clients on repair processes, insurance steps, and rights. You will prepare initial and final estimates, manage repairs with in-process QC, and keep customers informed throughout the journey.

You will review data with technicians, handle post-scanning procedures, and ensure carrier requirements are met while pre-closing repair orders. Strong knowledge of estimating systems and insurance processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills essential for handling communications with customers and insurers.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities with time management in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners is preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and ability to adapt quickly.
• Familiarity with estimating systems such as CCC One, Mitchell, and Audatex.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on vehicle repair processes, insurance procedures, rights, and safety.
• Complete initial estimates, update after disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair through the process ensuring in-process QC and quality standards.
• Keep customers informed about vehicle status and provide a positive experience.
• Review data with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle.
• Pre-close final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, and address file exceptions with carrier requirements.

Job description

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Completes initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC.
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
• Able to pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process.
• Pre-close the final repair order, Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are complete.
