Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a dedicated estimator/support specialist to educate customers on repairs and insurance procedures, and to manage the full estimating lifecycle from initial to final post-damage evaluation. You will work closely with body technicians to ensure quality control and timely updates for customers.

Responsibilities include post-scanning, pre-closing repair orders, and handling disbursement paperwork while ensuring carrier-specific requirements are met in a fast-paced shop

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating software and insurance procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with auto collision repair processes and carrier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repair processes, insurance procedures, and rights.
• Prepare initial and final estimates after evaluation and disassembly.
• Oversee repair progress and ensure quality control throughout the process.
• Keep customers informed about vehicle status and progress.
• Review data procedures with Body Technicians.
• Perform post-scanning steps for each vehicle.
• Pre-close the final repair order and manage paperwork.
• Address exceptions and ensure carrier-specific requirements are met.

Job description

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value
• Complete initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle
• Pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians
• Complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order
• Handle disbursement paperwork
• Address exceptions in the file
• Ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete
