Job summary

Crash Champions seeks an experienced estimator/customer service specialist to guide clients through auto repair workflows and insurance procedures. You will prepare both initial and final estimates, manage repairs from intake to completion, and uphold quality through in-process QC.

You will interact with customers, insurance partners, and technicians, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation across multiple estimating systems. A focus on adaptability and organization is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering service in auto repair or insurance-backed environments.
• Ability to interface with customers, insurance partners, and shop staff.
• Familiarity with multiple estimating systems and post-scanning steps.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repair processes, insurance steps, rights, and safety.
• Prepare initial and final repair estimates after evaluation.
• Manage each repair from start to finish.
• Perform in-process QC to meet Crash Champions quality standards.
• Keep customers informed on repair status and progress.
• Review data procedures with Body Technicians and finalize post-scanning.

Job description

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value
• Complete initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair throughout the process
• Ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle
• Pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians
• Complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order
• Handle disbursement paperwork
• Address exceptions in the file
• Ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete
