Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an organized estimator to guide customers through vehicle repair and insurance processes. You will educate clients, prepare initial estimates, write comprehensive estimates after evaluation, lock final figures, and oversee each repair from start to finish.

You’ll conduct in-process QC, post-scan checks, and pre-close the repair order while ensuring clear communication with customers and carriers.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with fast-paced environments and time management.
• Familiarity with insurance procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repairs, insurance, rights, and processes.
• Complete initial estimates; write full estimates after evaluation.
• Manage each repair throughout its lifecycle and ensure QC.
• Keep customers informed and updated on status; review data with Body Technicians.
• Handle post-scanning tasks and pre-close the repair order.
• Address exceptions and comply with carrier requirements.

Job description

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value


• Complete initial estimates


• Write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation


• Lock final estimates


• Manage each repair throughout the process


• Ensure Crash Champions' quality standards by performing in-process QC


• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle


• Pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians


• Complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process


• Pre-close the final repair order


• Handle disbursement paperwork


• Address exceptions in the file


• Ensure carrier specific requirements are complete
