Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled estimator to guide customers through the repair process, educate on insurance procedures, and ensure accurate damage evaluations.

You will handle initial and final estimates, manage each repair, perform in-process quality checks, and keep customers informed of vehicle status while coordinating with body technicians and carriers. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential to maintain timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience handling vehicle repair estimates and insurance procedures.
• Proficiency in CCC One or Mitchell & Audatex estimating systems.
• Strong customer service, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repair processes, insurance procedures, customer rights, and repair quality standards.
• Complete initial estimates, write final estimates after full evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair throughout the process and keep customers informed of status.
• Perform in-process quality control to ensure Crash Champions standards.
• Handle carrier-specific requirements and disbursement paperwork.
• Close out final repair orders and review data with Body Technicians.

Job description

• Educate customers on vehicle repair processes, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value


• Complete initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates


• Manage each repair throughout the process


• Perform in-process quality control to ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards


• Keep customers informed and updated on vehicle status


• Pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians


• Complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process


• Pre-close the final repair order


• Handle disbursement paperwork


• Address exceptions in the file


• Ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete
