Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a General Manager to lead a collision center, drive exceptional customer experience, and oversee day-to-day operations in line with company policies. The GM will manage budgets, forecast sales, and coach a team toward peak performance while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate others using coaching techniques and strong management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Deliver formal annual and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain accounts payable and receivable for the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean, organized repair facility at all times.
• Oversee shop equipment maintenance including the paint booth.
• Provide training for staff as needed.
• Enforce safety gear usage and dress code.
• Open/close the facility daily per procedures.
• Lead daily production meetings and confirm throughput and delivery dates.
• Manage estimates to ensure labor mix meets standards and manage store capacity.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety meetings and attend managers meetings.
• Participate in trainings and information sessions from Senior Leadership.
• Monitor CSI performance and follow up within 24 hours.
