Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to perform meticulous vehicle repairs and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will tear down, repair, and rebuild vehicles, ensuring they return to pre-accident condition while meeting speed, quality, and customer excellence standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using specialized tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, painting, and inspecting completed work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates; use tools as needed.
• Repair dents and body damage; apply fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; paint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
