Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment, repair, and restoration of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, while collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, and using a range of tools to repair, replace, or repaint

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution and customer experience.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle sections using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace/repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
