Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous repair of vehicles to pre‑accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while contributing to speed, quality and customer excellence.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus formal tech training or a 3-year apprenticeship. You’ll work with body repair tools and teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the brand as a trusted ambassador.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and communication within a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre‑accident condition.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair bodies.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to WOW plan and safety standards.
