Westlake Financial's Dallas-based on-site 60-day collector role focuses on reducing delinquencies for accounts 31-60 days overdue. You'll negotiate payment plans, meet daily goals, and collaborate with teammates to protect our auto loan portfolio.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in collections, strong Excel/Outlook skills, knowledge of FDCPA, and a high school diploma is required. Occasional overtime/weekend shifts may be needed, with attention to compliance and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must type at least 35 words per minute with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with professional phone etiquette.
• Flexible schedule; overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of collection laws, including the FDCPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable with web-based applications.
• 2+ years in collections preferred.
• Auto collections experience and repossession/skip tracing knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate payment plans with customers.
• Meet and exceed daily/monthly goals while staying compliant.
• Make outbound calls to secure payments or arrange payments.
• Collaborate with teammates to support department goals.
• Handle high call volumes professionally in a fast-paced setting.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers when needed.
• Coordinate with repossession agents to secure collateral.
• Reduce delinquency within assigned queue.
• Adhere to company policies and quality standards for accuracy.
