Westlake Financial is seeking a Collections Representative in Dallas, TX to help customers get back on track with their accounts. You'll handle inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment solutions, and maintain detailed notes while adhering to FDCPA.

You'll work in a high-volume, team-oriented setting, using skip-tracing tools and company policies to reduce delinquency and protect customer information. Prior collections experience is preferred and appreciated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of consumer collections experience in a high call-volume environment.
• Knowledge of collections and repossession processes; auto collection experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers—data entry, web-based applications, Excel & Outlook.
• Understanding of the FDCPA and related regulations.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers to manage accounts.
• Reach out to customers to set up payments or payment plans.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting goals.
• Keep detailed and accurate notes on all interactions.
• Listen actively and communicate clearly with customers and team.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers when needed.
• Review accounts for repossession when necessary, following guidelines.
• Work toward department goals by reducing delinquency and ensuring quality.
• Manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced team environment.
