Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Collections professional to drive the timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable across designated accounts. You will research disputes, develop payment plans, and build trust with customers and internal partners.

You will work with the Service Leader as the single point of contact, analyze trends, report receivable performance, and drive cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating the work of others, preferred
• Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This includes dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building relationships of trust with customers and internal business partners.
• Work directly with Service Leader for designated accounts for a single point of contact approach.
• Research and resolve complex payment discrepancies and identify root-cause solutions.
• Analyze and report on receivable performance, risks, trends, and collection opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with customers, business partners, and leadership, including leading meetings and presentations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Drive operational excellence and process improvement initiatives across onshore and offshore teams.
• Support project-based and strategic initiatives requiring coordination across multiple departments.
