Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Collections professional to manage the collection of outstanding accounts receivable, research disputes, and develop payment plans with customers. You will build trusted relationships with customers and internal partners while coordinating with designated account leaders to ensure smooth collections processes.

The role emphasizes analytical reporting on receivable performance and driving process improvements across global teams.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in collections or related role
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating the work of others
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed

Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding accounts receivable and perform dispute research
• Develop payment plans with customers and build relationships with customers and internal partners
• Collaborate with Service Leader for designated accounts for a single point of contact
• Research and resolve complex payment discrepancies and identify root-cause solutions
• Analyze and report on receivable performance, risks, trends, and collection opportunities
• Communicate effectively with customers, business partners, and leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve outcomes
• Drive operational excellence and process improvement across onshore and offshore teams
• Support project-based and strategic initiatives requiring coordination across multiple departments
