Job summary

Whizz is seeking a Collections Specialist for its remote team to support our growing e-mobility platform. The role focuses on monitoring overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while delivering top-tier customer service.

You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes, adhere to state and federal collection laws, and report on debt collection activities. A minimum of 1 year in collections and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Collections.
• Fluent in English (at least C1 level). Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle challenging customers.
• Requires a high-speed internet connection, personal computer, and headset.
• Knowledge of state and federal collection laws is preferred.

• Provide exceptional customer service to balance high customer satisfaction with effective collections efforts

• Adhere to all state and federal collection laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all activities

Working Hours

• 40 hours a week with 8-9 hour shifts, scheduled within the 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST time frame
• Shift assignments may vary, with start times adjusted to ensure coverage throughout the operating hours
