The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of FDCPA, and the ability to multitask while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of consumer collections experience in a high call-volume environment.
• Knowledge of collections and repossession processes; auto collection experience preferred.
• Understanding of FDCPA and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing friendly, professional support.
• Reach out to customers to set up payments or create plans for past-due accounts.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting performance goals.
• Keep detailed and accurate notes on all customer interactions and actions.
• Listen actively and communicate clearly to resolve concerns and ensure a positive experience.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral when needed.
• Review accounts for repossession following company guidelines.
• Work toward department goals by reducing delinquency and maintaining compliance.
• Manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced team environment.
• Protect confidential information related to customers and company operations.
