Westlake Financial is hiring a Charged-Off Collector in Dallas, on-site. You will contact customers, negotiate payment plans, and perform skip tracing to recover assets, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the team.

The role requires strong negotiation, listening skills, and knowledge of FDCPA and auto-finance experience. Base pay is $20.50 per hour with performance-based bonuses up to $6,800 monthly, plus tiered $500 retention bonuses at 3 and 6 months.

Qualifications

• Strong skip-tracing background.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and written skills.
• Flexible availability – overtime and weekends as needed.
• Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
• Driven to meet goals and grow within the department.
• Thorough understanding of FDCPA and state/federal collection laws.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive finance, with knowledge of collections, repossession, and skip tracing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office software; comfortable with web-based applications and skip-tracing tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via outbound and inbound calls to arrange payment solutions and bring accounts to resolution.
• Negotiate payment plans based on customer circumstances while meeting daily and monthly performance goals.
• Conduct extensive skip tracing to locate customers, vehicles, or potential leads.
• Maintain accurate records of account activity, updates, and vehicle recovery progress.
• Collaborate with team members to support department goals and share information on active cases.
• Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Ensure confidentiality of all company operations, customer information, and technology systems.
