Job summary

Hyundai Capital America seeks a Collateral Management Associate to support repossession efforts by gathering and updating account and vehicle location information. You will use skip-tracing tools to identify locations and communicate updates to partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of collections, customer service, financial services, or related experience.
• Exposure to collections, repossession, collateral recovery, or skip-tracing preferred.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned queue of repossession accounts using skip-tracing to locate customers and collateral.
• Update vehicle location information with repossession vendors and internal partners.
• Review accounts for missing or inaccurate information and escalate when needed.
• Document activity and update systems in line with procedures.
• Support collateral recovery efforts and ensure accuracy of records.
