Job summary

Americold is seeking a Manager, Engineering & Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance operations in our refrigerated warehouse. You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate installation, repair, and upkeep of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient facility performance.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, help prepare budgets and capital projects, and ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of warehouse maintenance management experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of all eight RETA courses
• HAZMAT certification required
• Americold Certified Maintenance Manager program within 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities for refrigerated warehouse equipment
• Plan and assign work schedules for maintenance staff
• Develop, implement, and update preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure OSHA compliance and municipal & state codes
• Collaborate on annual maintenance budgets and capital plans
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and enforce safety policies
