Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. in Wisconsin seeks a Manager II, Engineering & Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance in our refrigerated warehouse, ensuring machines, tools and utility systems operate safely and efficiently.

You will plan schedules, develop preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and ensure OSHA compliance while leading maintenance teams to meet production goals. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse maintenance management experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of all eight RETA courses required.
• HAZMAT certification required.
• Successful completion of the Americold Certified Maintenance Manager program within 6 months of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily maintenance activities including installation, repair, and upkeep of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems for the refrigerated warehouse.
• Plan and assign work schedules for maintenance associates, ensuring operational productivity and completion of maintenance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs by reviewing reports, inspecting equipment, and ensuring conformance with operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all municipal and state codes related to mechanical, electrical, and safety requirements.
• Resolve maintenance problems and assess future repair needs, coordinating necessary repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with management to prepare annual maintenance budgets, develop capital expense plans, and support long-term facility and equipment improvements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for employees and visitors by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
