Job summary

Blank Street in the United States is hiring a Training Associate to elevate barista and shift-lead training, onboarding new teammates, and coaching in-store while partnering with Operations to build capable teams delivering exceptional coffee, matcha, and hospitality. This in-person role is based in Washington DC or Philadelphia, reporting to the Senior Training Manager.

It involves travel between stores, creating training content, and supporting ongoing training initiatives to lift product

Qualifications

• 2+ years barista and training experience.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Washington, DC and Philadelphia stores.
• Master of time management and prioritization.
• Expert milk steaming with latte textures.
• Ability to pour latte art with consistency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee barista journey in new hire training and coordinate with ops partners.
• Lead in-store trainings, lab trainings, and finalize barista assessments.
• Provide area training support and assist with product launches.
• Develop reporting tools to monitor store performance and drive improvements.
• Maintain recipe and quality adherence across markets.
• Foster a learning culture and inspire teams.
