Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator in Boston to elevate barista and shift-lead training from onboarding to accreditation.

You will coach in-store teams, partner with Operations, and build strong training content and action plans to improve guest experience and product quality. You will lead orientations, seasonal trainings, new store openings, and coffee education, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years barista and training experience.
• Willingness to travel regularly between stores across our Boston, NY, DC and Philadelphia stores.
• A master of time management and prioritization.
• Expert in milk steaming with precise textures for lattes, flat whites, and cappuccinos.
• Consistently pours clean hearts, tulips, and rosettas with intentional technique.

Responsibilities

• Support the new hire training program by assisting with in-store training and leading centralized orientations as needed.
• Conduct training sessions to the highest standard and ensure trainers are certified to train.
• Drive neighborhood stores toward higher product quality standards and compliance.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and recipes to ensure recipe and quality adherence.
• Visit all stores in the area to champion excitement for the brand and products.
