Job summary

ABB is seeking a leader to run day-to-day Data Center Services Center of Excellence activities in the United States. You will guide field service delivery, develop strategies aligned with ABB’s global objectives, and drive continuous improvement while focusing on customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires coordinating Surge Team operations, coaching field engineers, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
• Knowledge of Data Center start-up and commissioning strategies.
• MS Project, Google Workspace, SAP and project-issue software (BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, Procore).
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Improves service availability, quality, and customer experience across field service operations.
• Develops and reviews field service strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Ensures strong customer focus, urgency, and care in service interactions.
• Drives continuous improvement and KPI-based performance management.
• Leads Surge Team onboarding, training, and timesheet/compliance oversight.
