Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Coordinated Entry (CE) System Coordinator within the Department of Community Affairs. This role oversees the Southeast region’s CE activities, ensures HUD elements are met, and leads day-to-day CE operations alongside a team of coordinators.

You will work with Continuum of Care partners to strengthen homeless services, train providers, and develop tools to improve access and outcomes for Georgians experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required
• At least three years experience with homeless services programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel throughout Georgia ~20% of the time

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Coordinated Entry Written Standards with the Balance of State CoC Board and HUD TA providers
• Provide technical assistance and training to homeless services providers across the BoS CoC
• Coordinate stakeholders and lead communities implementing Coordinated Entry
• Oversee annual HUD-mandated CE evaluation and improve CE performance
• Analyze CE system performance and implement improvements
• Develop and manage tools to facilitate access to the homeless system across BoS CoC
• Oversee HMIS development and coordination with HMIS staff
• Assist communities with by-name lists and prioritization for subpopulations
• Manage grant-making processes for CE efforts, including contracting and compliance
• Raise awareness of CE through outreach and partnerships
