Job summary

Guilford County is seeking a Continuum of Care Specialist to monitor performance, provide technical support, and coordinate system-wide improvements for homelessness services funded by CoC/ESG grants. The role involves data analysis, evaluation, and collaboration with planning staff to enhance housing outcomes.

The position emphasizes monitoring, technical assistance, and stakeholder engagement to align program performance with HUD requirements and local funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required; strong understanding of homelessness and HUD policies.
• Experience with data analysis and performance measurement is desirable.
• Must have driving license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate CoC- and ESG-funded program performance (exits to permanent housing, length of homelessness, returns to homelessness, income outcomes).
• Lead APR review and data quality assurance before HUD submission.
• Support development of CAPs and corrective actions for underperforming providers.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with experience

Driver’s license and ability to travel
