Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Production Coater Technician I to start up the coating process for photovoltaic modules. This intermediate role operates equipment, handles materials, and supports manufacturing to meet required output while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will perform basic preventive maintenance, address intermediate alarms, and assist with on-the-floor training once certified. A high school diploma and manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience; related substitute experience acceptable.
• Able to obtain forklift certification if requested.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates coating equipment and related tools to meet quality and production targets.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance and monitors process alarms.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and follows safety procedures.
• Provides on-the-job training to teammates when certified and requested.
